Most of you would be familiar with the term ‘KYC’ which means ‘Know Your Customer’. As Prostarter launchpad is going to host lots of premium and well-deserved projects in the upcoming days. Also, token sale rounds are going on the Prostarter.io so the system will have to verify your information before you participate in token sales or any activity. Prostarter is offering a One-time KYC verification feature which means you will not have to submit KYC separately for every project. So, what are we waiting for? Let’s go down to have a look at the simple procedure of submitting KYC on the Prostarter.

*KYC Verification for all rounds is open now and will be ending on 30th April 2021. Participants of a private sale, pre-sale rounds 1, 2, and 3 will be able to submit their KYC until 30th April,2021.

  1. KYC for {MetaMask Contract Transactions}
  2. KYC for {Manual Transactions}

1- KYC for {MetaMask Contract Transactions}

Those who have bought $PROT tokens using the MetaMask contract will have to follow these steps to complete submitting KYC. Those who have sent ETH manually using MetaMask wallet can also proceed to KYC verification through their dashboard.

Step 1 — Connect Your Wallet

First thing first, you will have to visit the official website of Prostarter and click on the ‘Connect Meta Mask’ button at the top of the page. You will not be able to submit KYC without connecting your MetaMask wallet.

Clicking on that button will automatically open the interface of MetaMask wallet asking you the password to unlock your MetaMask wallet. Unlocking a wallet will give authorization permission to your Etherum address to connect with the Prostarter launchpad. After unlocking your MetaMask wallet, click on the Dashboard option to open the tab of Know Your Customer. From the KYC section on your dashboard, click on the Verify KYC with Blockpass button to proceed further.

Remember that users who have not participated in any $PROT sale round will not be able to access the dashboard using MetaMask.

On the Prostarter launchpad, we do not compromise when it comes to the security of our members’ information. Following the sensitivity of your personal information, Prostarter has joined hands with ‘Blockpass’, a well-reputed and secured eKYC technology to verify your information. Clicking on the ‘Verify with Blockpass’ will take you to the next interface asking you to verify your KYC with Blockpass. Click on that button ‘Verify with Blockpass’ to proceed to the next phase to start the submission of identity documents.

Step 2 — Submit Identity Documents

Before you start submitting your documents, you should have one of the following documents as you can see in the given image below. Also, you must be at least 18 years old for KYC verification.

  • National ID Card
  • Driving License
  • Passport

After having all the documents, click on the start button and enter your email to continue. The system will send a link to your email address, you would have to open your mail, and clicking on that link will redirect you back to the Blockpass KYC verification page.

There you would be given three options to select National ID or Passport or Driving License. In order to enter a national ID and driving license, you would have to select your country first from the given list of countries. After selecting verification options, you will be asked to take a picture of your ID. Make sure you have access to a camera to take a selfie. Click on the Launch Camera to take a photo of your ID card or document following the on-screen instructions.

Tip: Try to take a picture of your ID in a lighting environment with a high-quality resolution. In case the picture quality is poor, there is a chance of photo rejection.

After submitting the photo of ID, you will have to submit your selfie and make sure that your selfie is not older than 3 months to avoid KYC rejection. After submitting your documents, you will have to enter your personal information.

Step 3- Provide Personal Information

At this stage, you have to enter your personal info to complete the KYC submission process. Following are the details you will have to fill out to provide your personal information.

  • Your Full Name
  • Family Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Etherum Wallet Address

After filling out your personal info, click on the Register button to complete the KYC submission process. You will be headed to the confirmation page informing you that you have completed the KYC process and your application is under review.

The system of Blockpass will send you an email that your identity has been submitted to Prostarter. You will receive an additional email from Blockpass if your KYC application has been approved or if you have to re-submit something. Moreover, clicking on that ‘Check Your Registration Status’ to check the status of our submitted KYC application.

That’s how your dashboard KYC tab will look like after submitting KYC through Blockpass.

2- KYC for {Manual Transactions}

Besides buying $PROT tokens using MetaMask, there is an option to send ETH manually to buy $PROT in any sale round. So, all of you who have sent ETH manually to buy $PROT need to have a look at the KYC submission procedure given below.

Step 1

Open this form https://forms.gle/p4hjbnGG9dxzWEgu7 and submit your email address and ERC20 wallet address.

Step 2

After verifying your email address and ERC20 wallet address, we will send you the blockpass KYC verification link. Click on that link and start submitting your information for KYC submission as the process of submitting KYC through Blockpass is already mentioned above.

Finally, you have submitted your KYC through Blockpass. You will receive an email from Blockpass regarding your KYC submission status that either it has been approved or you have to re-submit some details. After getting your KYC verified through Blockpass, you will be able to claim your $PROT tokens.

Due to the One-time KYC feature, you will not have to submit separate KYCs for participating in the next presale rounds or different project whitelisting which means get your KYC verified just for once. In simple words, if you got your KYC verified for private sale or presale round 1,2 then you will not have to submit separate KYC for pre-sale round 3or IDO whitelisting.

*In case you have sent ETH manually from MetaMask wallet then you can connect your MetaMask wallet on Prostarter.io to submit KYC with Blockpass without filling the KYC form.
